Scenario #
A training provider serves both career changers and working professionals. Build personas to improve messaging and channel decisions without stereotyping people.
Your task #
- Define the decision the personas must support.
- Use supplied research, consented interviews, survey summaries or clearly labeled assumptions.
- Create two distinct personas with goals, context, needs, barriers, decision criteria and preferred evidence.
- Map the journey from problem recognition through evaluation, purchase and post-purchase.
- Identify suitable content, channels, calls to action and support needs at each stage.
- List what evidence would validate or revise each persona.
Submission #
Submit two one-page personas, a journey map and a list of research gaps. Do not invent demographic details as facts or include sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for the marketing decision.
Evaluation rubric #
Decision relevance 15; evidence and assumption labeling 25; distinct needs and barriers 20; journey-to-action mapping 25; ethical handling and clarity 15.
Quality test #
If the persona does not change a message, offer, channel, experience or research question, simplify it or collect better evidence.
